GREEN Slime – Green Supercritical Lithium-Ion Materials For Energy

GREEN Slime – Green Supercritical Lithium-Ion Materials for Energy is a research project funded by the Veneto Region with a public contribution of €76,320.00 (on a total budget of €101,760.00), focused on the development of eco-friendly nanomaterials for advanced energy storage.

The project addresses key challenges in the energy transition, improving lithium-ion battery performance through nanoparticles synthesized with non-critical materials and low-impact, solvent-free processes, based on Particular Materials’ proprietary supercritical water technology.

Positioned within the Smart Manufacturing specialization of RIS3 Veneto, GREEN Slime supports the development of innovative materials for applications ranging from consumer electronics and electric vehicles to renewable energy storage systems for residential and industrial use.

Through this initiative, Particular Materials and the Veneto Region strengthen their role in driving sustainable innovation in the strategic field of nanomaterials for energy.
